Killiecrankie Soldiers Leap Perthshire

Killiecrankie Soldiers Leap
Where the Lowlands meet the Highlands you can enjoy one of the finest Oak and mixed deciduous woodlands. Here a Jacobite victory was won at the battle of Killicrankie. This is the spot where a government soldier fleeing for his life, made a spectacular 18 foot leap over the River Gary.
Nearby id the visitor centre with exhabitions on the battle and local natural beauty of this famous Perthshire Gorge. See nesting birds at close range by camera link.

We recommend staying in Perth at Taypearls Self Catering.
