Perth Museum Caithness Glass 13th May
The Dazzle exhibition running in Perth museum  will feature, for the first time, a small selection of Caithness Glass from the recent donation of the Graham Cooley Collection - an important and extensive private collection of over 300 pieces, generously gifted to Perth Museum and Art Gallery. The collection comprises works from all the company's principal designers and represents the most comprehensive gathering of Caithness Glass now in public ownership.

Perth Dazzle Monart Glass Exhibition at Perth Museum

Perth museum Dazzle Exhibition is host to some of the best examples of locally made artisan glass including works from the Monart, Vasart, Strathearn and Caithness studios as well as contemporary Scottish art glass pieces.
It will celebrate Perth's glass tradition, with the addition of some examples of the Museum's rarely seen collection of historic Venetian glass, which demonstrate how locally-produced glass sits within the context of European art glass.

The Auld Tram Dundee

 The Auld Tram Dundee
Our visit to Dundee today was rewarded with a coffe from the Auld Tram coffee stop. It is an original horse drawn tram and one of the oldest in existance today. This tram was operational in central Dundee during the 1870 period prior to electric trams being intoduced around 1900.

Today Holiday Apartment Perth meal deal Howies Restaurant 21st January

TODAY'S  Itison deal  : £16 instead of up to £34 for a main course and a glass of wine each for two people at the newly opened Howie's Bistro Perth; sister restaurant to local favourite Howie's Bistro in Dunkeld - save up to 53%

Once upon a time, we dreamed of being invited to dinner at Howie-Backstreet-Boy-Dorough’s house, but just like his dubious fashion choices those dreams have been left in the 90s.

These days, it’s all about Howie’s Bistro in Perth – especially when you’ve got today’s itison deal!

We’re offering a main course and a glass of wine each for two people at the newly opened Perth hot spot for just £16.

That’s a larger than life 53% saving!

Expanding on the success of its sister Bistro in Dunkeld, Howie’s Bistro is bringing the same ethos to the people of Perth – and beyond! With a focus on fresh local produce, home cooking and excellent service, this new eatery has already inspired glowing reviews on TripAdvisor.

With today’s deal you and a friend can see what all the fuss is about and tuck into a main course each choosing from delicious bistro dishes such as Perthshire game and root vegetable casserole, pan-seared sea bass with sweet and sour peppers, or a succulent Howie’s homemade 6oz steak burger topped with red onion relish and your choice of cheddar or blue cheese, served with thick cut fries, dressed salad and crispy Onion rings.

True to their relaxed approach and chilled out atmosphere, Howie’s Bistro also offers complimentary Wi Fi making it the perfect place for work lunches, and with a glass of wine each included in today’s deal it’s also the ideal location for a catch up with friends or a romantic date with someone special.

Everybody now, get down with delicious dining and today’s deal for just £16.
