Lakeland Building 48-50 St Johns Street Perth

Lakeland Building 48-50 St Johns Street Perth
Built in the Itaian renaissance palazzo style as the headquarters for the Central Bank. The architect David Rhind used very expensive materials and detailing , sturdy balustrades top and bottom, Corinthian pilasters to first floor windows, stone brackets to balcony, chunky quoins and very deep cornices. The interior has fantastic plasterwork.
